"The Diva" Violin / Cello Queen of our collection, "The Diva" was painstakingly carved from seven individual components: body, neck, fingerboard, fiddlehead, bridge, tailpiece, and button. The body and fiddlehead are made from Honduran rosewood burl (HRB) heartwood; The bridge, neck, and button are spalted HRB sapwood, and the fretboard and tailpiece are ziricote. This is Old World hand craftsmanship at its best, using no computerization techniques or chemical finishes. "The Diva" comes mounted on a variegated hardwood base, and encased in a glass dome.
