Appalachian Fiddle This little sweetheart combines the rounded backside of a lute or mandolin, with the overall look of a violin, a virtual fifth string, and a fretless neck. Carved from a single piece of HRB, with rare pin-burl grain. (Pin burl actually has spines growing out of it like hedgehog, or a sea urchin.) Includes a tiny brass-inlaid bow, Inlaid brass nut, bridge, and fretboard edging. Old World craftsmanship, with no computerization or chemical finishes in its making.
