"Martin Love"
This lovely little Martin guitar looks like a chocolate confectioner's dream. The body and headstock were carved from Honduran Rosewood Burl (HRB), with a fretboard, bridge, and pick guard made of ziricote wood. This is classic Old World craftsmanship, using no computerization techniques or chemical finishes in its making.  "Martin Love" comes mounted on a ziricote base, and encased in a glass dome.

Artist: Nancy R Koerner, 2018

Materials: Honduran rosewood burl, ziricote wood, brass wire, glass beads. Base of zericote and brass rod. Housed in glass dome w/ black acrylic base.

Dimensions: Guitar 6” tall x 2” wide x 1/2 ” thick. Dome 7” tall x 4” diameter.

Signature: Features NK ’18 monogram on guitar back, lower left corner, and NK “etching” on glass dome.
Other info: Honduran rosewood burl is a planetary legacy, one of the rarest, most valuable, and most collectible woods in the world. This heirloom quality, one-of-a-kind, HRB creation represents the heavenly after-life of a tree, a breathtaking reincarnation of natural living beauty. The raw rosewood is legally imported by the artist, who is licensed and permitted under USDA/APHIS regulation, and approved by C.I.T.E.S. (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) as an environmentally-friendly enterprise.
