"Oud Saleh"
Ancestor of the lute, the oud has 10-12 strings, and is well-known and loved in the Middle East. The body, neck, extreme-angled headstock, fretboard, and "mustache" are hand crafted from Honduran Rosewood Burl (HRB) heartwood, with contrasting HRB sapwood acoustic holes, and a solid brass bridge. This is Old World workmanship, made with no computerization or chemical finishes. "Oud Saleh" is mounted on a mixed exotic hardwood base, and encased in a glass dome.
